 The NCCT KUB Scan is the Non-Contrast Computerized Tomography Scan of the kidneys, ureter, and bladder. It’s a diagnostic method where rotating beams of X-rays create multiple cross-sectional images of the urinary tract, namely kidneys, ureters, and bladder. This forms a 3-dimensional image of the organs to detect and diagnose various disorders.

The NCCT KUB scan is done to diagnose obstructions of the urinary tract like stones inside the kidney and bladder, to detect abnormal growth in the kidney and bladder.

For females of reproductive age, date of LMP is required. In case of missed / prolonged periods, a negative UPT is required.
