How to Prepare for an EEG?

• Wash your hair the night before and avoid using conditioners, oils, or hair sprays.

• Get a good night’s sleep before the test, unless a sleep-deprived EEG is required.
• Inform the doctor about any medications you are taking.

What is an NCV Test?

The Nerve Conduction Velocity (NCV) Test measures the speed and strength of electrical signals traveling through the nerves. It is commonly performed to assess nerve damage.
